Hannahs provides much needed respite care to hundreds of disabled youngsters, their families and carers from across the UK from one day, up to 52 weeks of the year. The Respite Centre, affectionately known as Hannahs Avenue, is a registered children’s home which provides the best standards of care and support.
Hannahs Avenue provides a highly personalised, outstanding service for children with a range of complex conditions. Our energetic and inspirational team of qualified staff promote a culture of young people first, disability second; an ethos underpinned by our social model of nursing which factors emotional and developmental needs with medical.
When staying at Hannahs Avenue, young people experience a well resourced home from home with a meticulous approach to care. Young people are encouraged to participate in the life of the wider local community, develop life skills and grow to achieve their full potential in terms of independence and confidence. Children also have access to Hannahs School and a vast range of exciting activities from Rebound theory, swimming, assess to sensory room and soft play area.
