Hannahs Halloween proves a spooky success

Over 500 spookily clad visitors flocked to Seale-Hayne for Hannahs Halloween Spooktacular at the weekend. Ghosts, ghouls, witches and vampires all joined in the fiendishly fun Halloween festivities.
Visitors of all ages embraced the “dress to distress” theme and turned up in fantastic and frightening costumes for an evening of Halloween hi-jinks and family-friendly fun. Joining in the spooky activities were young adults from Hannahs in Ivybridge and Hannahs guests and volunteers at Seale-Hayne.

This year’s frightful festivities included A Fete Worse than Death, Scary Doors Trail, Hannahs Haunted Hotel Ghost Walk, Creepy Creatures, the world’s first Zombie Morris Dancers, pumpkin carving and a whole host of other fiendish fun.

Hannahs Marketing Manager, Matt Newbury said “Our Halloween Spooktacular has grown into one of the biggest events in the South West and we are always bowled over by the effort people make with their costumes. The striking and atmospheric quad at Seale-Hayne is perfect for some Halloween fun and our staff love coming up with ideas to make it bigger and better each year. Thanks to everyone who came along and supported this fundraising event – now it’s full speed ahead for our Christmas Fayre on Friday 13th Saturday 14 November!”
