Manhattan Short is an international film festival and it is coming to Hannahs at Seale-Hayne on September 26. Come along with your friends to view and judge the final ten films and choose your favourite.

The truly global film festival is an instantaneous celebration that takes place simultaneously in over 300 cities across six continents. Over 100,000 film lovers will view and vote for their favourite short film. Seale-Hayne is one of only two venues in the UK to screen and judge the shortlisted films.

Film makers from all over the world have submitted entries and the ten finalists will be viewed all over the world during the week of September 26-October 5. These films were shortlisted from a staggering 589 countries from 47 different countries. This year the finalists come from Australia, USA, Mexico and Europe including two from England. The overall winner will be announced on October 6.

Matt Newbury, Marketing Manager at Hannahs at Seale-Hayne, said “We are delighted to be one of only two venues in the UK to have been chosen to screen the films. We are looking forward to involving the local community in this international event”.
