The staff at Santander bank in Plymouth have chosen to make a very generous donation of £5,000 to Hannahs in Ivybridge.
As part of the Community Plus Scheme, the Santander staff chose to award a grant to Hannahs, having received an application from Pauline Hall, a tutor at Hannahs. Pauline works closely with the children in Hannahs school, all of whom have a range of disabilities.
Santander Branch Director, Elaine Bleazard, said “We want to support local charities that mean something to our community. Hannahs really fulfils this by giving so much back to the children. While visiting Hannahs in Ivybridge, it became immediately obvious that the children lead really happy lives.”
Hannahs Tutor, Pauline Hall, said “I am passionate about my work with the children at Hannahs and want to help in any way I can. When I was in my local branch of Santander I discovered that there was an opportunity to apply for a grant for Hannahs and after several attempts I was delighted that they were able to make such a generous donation”.
