Summer fun at Hannahs Fayre

Hannahs Summer Fayre promises to be bigger and better than ever this year. The fun packed family day will take place on Saturday 21st June at the Dame Hannah Rogers Trust in Ivybridge from 11am to 3.30pm.
Dog owners are invited to enter their faithful friends in the ever popular Family Dog Show. There will be plenty of prizes and rosettes for classes including waggiest tail, best puppy and dog most like its owner.
Once the judges have picked their winners, Hannahs Hounds will take to the main arena to show off their skills in the dog agility displays. In addition to the canine capers in the main arena there will be live music and a dramatic performance by a group of Taiko drummers as well as live music.

The Fayre schedule is as follows:

11.15am-12.30pm: Dog Show
1-2pm: Music
2-2.30pm: Dog Agility
2.40-3.15pm: Taiko
3.15pm: Draw Winners Announced

For children there will be plenty of outdoor activities and games as well as a fantastic variety of local stalls for the whole family to browse ranging from jewellery, cards and toys to cakes and local produce. There will be the ever popular Worn but Wonderful stall selling vintage clothing, handbags and shoes while the young artists of the Hannahwood Collective will also be there selling their artwork. Raffle tickets will be on sale all day with spectacular prizes to be won.

The Fayre is organised and run by the Hannahs staff with help from members of the local community and is a key part of the charity’s fundraising calendar. Anyone interested in supporting Hannahs on June 21st can simply turn up at the school on Woodland Road, Ivybridge on the day and enjoy what the fair has to offer. Refreshments will be served throughout the day including a barbecue, ice creams and freshly baked cakes.
