Budding young actors are being invited to work with experienced television and stage actors at Hannahs at Seale-Hayne. The free workshop will take place on Saturday 31st May 10am-12pm.
The event is linked to a performance of Shakespeare’s “Twelfth Night” which is taking place at Seale-Hayne that evening.
The workshop is an independent event, providing the chance for would-be actors and actresses to talk to and learn from people who have performed at the highest level.
Director Steve Andrews said “This a workshop for all young people aged between 6 and 16. It is certainly NOT just about Shakespearean acting. But the cast of “Twelfth Night” are very keen to pass on the fruits of their considerable experience. Some of them have a long list of television credits and others have done a good deal of film and stage work. All are welcome. It will be both fun and very, very useful for anyone who might want to “tread the boards” at whatever level in future. We honestly think this is a great opportunity for young people to meet, chat to and work with professional actors – completely free of charge.”
