Community Fundraiser

Salary: £22,000 to £25,000 dependent on experience | Hours: 40 hours per week | Location: Seale-Hayne

Application deadline: Wednesday 31 May

One of the UK’s oldest Charities, based in the heart of Devon, Hannahs is dedicated to empowering and providing children, young people and adults with profound physical and learning disabilities with life changing opportunities and advocating their needs.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Community Fundraiser to join our Fundraising team and work creatively to increase income, year on year, from a variety of income streams. Hannahs is fortunate to have a strong support base within the local community where people do inspiring things to raise vital funds for our children and adults with disabilities. You will have the opportunity to manage your own projects, encourage existing supporters and research and recruit new supporters. We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated team player, who has a comprehensive understanding of organising and supporting local community fundraising events. You will be competent at building and developing relationships, as well as excellent written and face to face communications skills.

This is an exciting time to join us as we celebrate our 250th year anniversary of receiving Dame Hannah’s legacy and you will help develop and grow the department. The role will be based at Seale Hayne and will require you to work across our Trust sites. You must be able to travel locally, working evenings and weekends, as required and according to the needs of the business.

BENEFITS PACKAGE:

  • Staff discounts available
  • Full induction training
  • On going training and development
  • 30 days’ annual leave entitlement including bank holidays
  • Auto enrolment pension
  • Progression opportunities
  • Employee Assistance Programme
  • PLUS the opportunity to really make a difference

We will only accept fully completed application forms, CV’s alone will not be considered.

Further information and an application pack can be downloaded from our website at www.discoverhannahs.org or call HR on 01626 325862.
