Clinical Support Assistant - Adult Services

  • Salary: £21,413.40 pa - pro rata
  • Hours: Part time - 20 hours pw on a 4 week Rota

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join the Clinical Support Team and work at one of the UK’s oldest Charities, based in the heart of Devon, Hannah’s is dedicated to empowering and providing children, young people and adults with profound physical and learning disabilities with life-changing opportunities and advocating their needs. Our Adult Services Department, which operates over two separate CQC registered locations on a multi-purpose site. Our residential home with nursing is registered to provide accommodation for 37 young adults with a range of complex health needs and physically disabilities, within specifically designed properties that model a supported living environment.

Are you a Healthcare Assistant looking for a change or a Support Worker looking to progress? The Clinical Support Team are an addition to the Hannah’s family that will provide additional clinical support and compliment the existing multi-disciplinary front line services.

The successful applicant will cover shifts across nights and weekends on a fixed rota pattern. There is also the need to be able to cover other shifts as and when required in line with the needs of the service.

There will be a wide range of opportunities to learn new clinical skills in a supportive setting. You will undertake an induction as well as specific training relevant to the areas you may be allocated to, this may include continence, tissue viability, pressure area care, physical intervention and mental health risk assessment training.
