Hannah’s at Ivybridge are seeking a strong, experienced and highly motivated individual with the drive and commitment required to manage our Adult Services Department, which operates over two separate CQC registered locations on a multi-purpose site. Our residential home with nursing is registered to provide accommodation for 37 young adults with a range of complex health needs and physically disabilities, within specifically designed properties that model a supported living environment. We provide a wide of services to include, residential placements, educational day placements and overnight respite stays to a number of young adults that require care and support from a specialist multi-disciplinary team of professionals.
As the Registered Manager of Adult Services, you’ll be responsible for both CQC registered locations and be accountable for all regulatory compliance within the two services. You will maintain and develop a warm, welcoming and supportive environment for all key stakeholders and ensure that the service operates as a centre of excellence by providing specialised, person centred care in a way that individually meets the holistic needs of the young adults we support.
You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining robust quality assurance systems that monitor areas of compliance and all evidenced based practice within Adult Services, ensuring that the service continues to operate a safe, open and transparent culture. You will be expected to maintain, support and develop the service to achieve an ‘outstanding’ CQC inspection rating.
The successful candidate will be a dynamic, sharp and motivated individual with strong leadership and management skills. You will already have experience of working within a similar regulated environment as Registered Manager and have excellent working knowledge of current legislation regulations, and statutory obligations.
You’ll have a relevant Degree (Social Work, Nursing), NVQ Level IV &/or LMA or RMA /or Level 5 QCF Level 5 in Health Social Care, or equivalent.
