Duchy College offers the opportunity to attend courses at Seale-Hayne and gain a Skills for Working Life City & Guilds Award at Entry Level.The course will include horticulture and green woodwork. Students will learn about growing plants in a very practical way, they will create products for sale and take part in developing the garden area. Students will be spending a lot of time outdoors and develop confidence and social skills whilst being part of building a successful enterprise.

The course is available for anyone over the age of 16 or over who has a learning disability, likes to learn in a practical way and has an interest in gardening and learning new skills.
Attendance is for 2 days a week on Thursdays and Fridays, starting each day at 10am and ending at 3.30pm. There will be a mix of classroom activity but you will need to be prepared to spend a lot of time outdoors.
