Friendly trained staff are on hand to provide information and support to visitors and detailed maps indicate where to find the nearest facilities and ramped entrances to various venues onsite.

Grounds

Here at Seale Hayne it is possible to explore all of our 93 acre site, experiencing everything we have to offer from animals to a working blacksmith to a near perfect 360 degree view from the top of our hill. Mobility scooters are available to hire (see more details below).

Parts of the grounds are accessible to wheelchairs but some parts are not. Access has been improved with ramps and paths and we have plans to extend these in the future. A detailed map is available at reception to show accessible paths around the site.

Accessible toilet facilities are available in various locations throughout the site. More information can be found on the maps available at reception.

Trampers (mobility scooters) are available for visitors and guests to use whilst onsite.

With a short amount of training the user learns how to safely operate the Tramper and understand their capabilities. It is then up to the user to explore the site for however long they want.

Users are required to become members of Countryside Mobility, a charity which operates throughout the southwest providing better mobility options for all, once a member a user can visit any site which operates Trampers and use them without having to go through the training again. There are two membership options, an annual membership which at a rate of £10, or a calendar month which costs £2.50. For more information visit their website: www.countrysidemobility.org
