One of the UK’s oldest Charities, based in the heart of Devon, Dame Hannah Rogers Trust is an inspirational charity supporting people with disabilities, based in Ivybridge and Newton Abbot.
We have an exciting opportunity for someone with HR advisor and HR administrative experience, to join our busy HR team, to assist in the delivery of an effective, proactive generalist HR service to all managers and staff across sites, as well as assisting with the HR administration. You will be providing HR support across both sites, so the ability and willingness to travel between our sites is essential.
Your duties will include assisting with the recruitment and on-boarding of staff; management of absence; probation; performance; change; and undertaking often complex investigations. With experience of working within an HR environment, and with a Level 3 CIPD qualification, or working towards this, you will have excellent communication skills; a flexible approach; maintain high levels of accuracy; be able to prioritise your workload, and be able to demonstrate you are able to work as part of a team. A good working knowledge of employment law is also essential.
This is a fixed term contract for 6 months in the first instance, but there may be the opportunity for this to be extended or made permanent.
