Our mission is simple, to empower, advocate and enrich the lives of adults with disabilities.
Our services
Working at its main site at Ivybridge, about 11 miles from Plymouth – Dame Hannahs provides learning, care, support and fun for adults with a range of disabilities, including: Hannahwood – an innovative transition project for young adults - therapies and supported activities. Our holistic approach offers professional support from our therapists, educationalists, expert medical staff and a care team.

To raise awareness of #STOPthePressure day, Dame Hannah’s wrote a poem called "Under Pressure" and created this amazing video, which was submitted to the community Tissue Viability Team’s, Pressure Damage Prevention poem competition.I am pleased to say that we won! Congratulation and a big thank you to all those involved.

January News 2023
2023 has got off to a flying start with New Year outings in Devon and Cornwall and plenty of fun activities both inside and outside. Meanwhile our supporters continue to donate and make fundraising plans for which we are eternally grateful.
Guy and Eunice raise over £26,000 for Dame Hannahs
A Saltash couple have raised an amazing £26,311 for the Dame Hannah Rogers Trust. Guy Butcher and Eunice Kratky very generously donated their 1936/28 Austin 7 to Dame Hannahs as a major raffle prize in a Car Draw.

Everyone has had a lovely time leading up to Christmas. Our young adults have enjoyed lots of festive outings, celebrations and creative fun. We would like to say a huge thank you to our wonderful supporters and volunteers.
Christmas Concert raises £400 for Dame Hannahs
A Christmas concert in aid of Dame Hannahs raised a wonderful £400. The Levow Kesson Choir and Saltash Town Band performed a variety of festive songs and carols in the concert at Saltash Wesley Methodist Church.
Plymouth Tamar Lions raise £200 for Dame Hannahs
The Plymouth Tamar Lions Club have raised a wonderful £200 for Dame Hannahs. Club President Francis Sturman presented a cheque to Dame Hannahs Community Engagement Officer Debbie Lumsdon this week.

Hours: £12.10 per hour upon successful completion of probation period
