Charlotte

Charlotte started at Dame Hannahs in 2013 aged 19 after leaving school. She has Wolf Hirschhorn Syndrome and attends Dame Hannahs three days a week on a daily basis where she is based in Blachford bungalow.

Mum Amanda said “Charlotte is a very sociable and tactile person who loves interacting with people and playing with people’s hands. She really enjoys spending time with both staff and friends and joining in activities. She absolutely loves anything to do with music whether it is people singing to her or playing with musical toys and sensory equipment and she really enjoys her music therapy sessions. She also loves being out of her wheelchair whether it is in the hydrotherapy pool, on the trampoline for rebound therapy, horse riding or chilling on the sofa. I can tell that she is happy at Dame Hannahs and that is really important to me”.
