Dame Hannahs receives Santa Fun Run cheque

Members of Dame Hannahs Fundraising team attended a Plymouth Santa Fun Run Celebration Night at Staddon Heights Golf Club recently and were presented with a very generous cheque for £2,750 by the organisers, Saltram Rotary Club. Dame Hannahs was one of two beneficiary charities from the popular festive event.
The Plymouth Santa Fun Run raised a massive £5,500 that was divided between Dame Hannahs and Shekinah. Over 700 Santas joined in the festive event and had great fun running round Plymouth just before Christmas helping to raise funds for the charities.
Dame Hannahs Head of Fundraising, Daniel Burke said “The 2019 Santa Fun Run was as always a seamlessly organised event by Saltram Rotary. We had a great time promoting the event in the lead up to the run with our ‘Dame Hannah Santa’ visiting many of our historical landmarks and locations spreading the word of Dame Hannahs and Saltram Rotary Club. As always, we are extremely grateful to the Rotary Club for all their ongoing support which we have been so lucky to have had for a number of years. Everyone at Dame Hannahs was delighted to have been a main beneficiary charity again this year and we feel honoured to be alongside Shekinah, another local charity doing such vital work”.
