Tesco donate pumpkins to Dame Hannahs

Tuesday 03 November 2020

Staff at Tesco Lee Mill generously donated a large trolley full of pumpkins to our young adults.

The young people at Dame Hannahs always enjoy getting into the Halloween spirit. They love to dress up in spooky costumes and play spooky games. This year more than ever due to the Coronavirus crisis, the staff and young people are keen to find more activities they can do on site at Dame Hannahs in Ivybridge. They all did some wonderful pumpkin carving and decorating as well as hunting for skeleton bones and scary eggs around the site and dressing up in spooky costumes for the Halloween disco.

Tracy from Tesco Customer Services said “It is our pleasure to help out with a trolley full of pumpkins once more. We have really missed seeing the young people from Dame Hannahs visiting our store during lockdown”.

Debbie Lumsdon, Community Engagement Executive at Dame Hannahs, said “Thank you to Tracy and our lovely friends at Tesco Lee Mill for their continuing support of our young people at Dame Hannahs. The staff are always most generous and we are always made most welcome in the store”.
