An Ivybridge couple have recently retired from Dame Hannahs after working there for over 30 years. Trevor and Pam Cornwell have both been much valued members of staff for 33 and 28 years respectively. Everyone at Dame Hannahs was very sad to say farewell to them.

Over the years Trevor worked his way up through the maintenance team eventually becoming the Maintenance Supervisor. While Pam worked in the laundry and housekeeping teams, later becoming a learning support assistant and then support worker.

Dame Hannahs Finance Director, James Derrick, said “Trevor and Pam have to be sincerely thanked for 33 and 28 years of hard work, commitment and dedicated service to the charity. Congratulations to both of them on their well-earned retirement. Everyone at Dame Hannahs wishes Trevor and Pam and their family all the best for the future”.

Trevor Cornwell said “Pam and I have worked for Dame Hannahs for a total of 61 years! We have both really enjoyed working with the young people and staff and have seen many changes over the years. The young people are such an inspiration and we are both truly proud to have been part of their lives. We wish everyone at Dame Hannahs every success for the future. As for us, we are going to take a well-earned rest”.
