Over 6000 people flocked to Hannahs at Seale-Hayne this summer for the Looking in Wonderland exhibition. Both tourists and locals alike have enjoyed the stunning exhibition of illustrations from the Alice in Wonderland books as well as Alice themed events and activities.

During the summer Seale-Hayne has been filled with little Alices and Mad Hatters running around the quad playing Flamingo Croquet, taking part in the White Rabbit’s Treasure Hunt and enjoying Alice themed teas and lunch boxes. While visiting the exhibition in the gallery they have been able to dress up and enjoy arts and crafts activities.

Pocketwatch Theatre performed a very entertaining version of the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party around the grounds of Seale-Hayne while Quantum Theatre gave an open air performance of Alice through the Looking Glass. Moonstone Theatre brought Murder Mystery to Seale-Hayne with Malice in Wonderland and Creation Station hosted some very creative Mad Hatter’s Arty Tea Parties.

Hannahs Head of Marketing, Rebecca Bowen-Keay, said “We are really thrilled that so many visitors have come to Seale-Hayne to experience some of the fantastic family activities, to join in our summer of Wonderland and be a part of the vibrant community that is Hannahs”.
