Hundreds enjoy Halloween Spooktacular

Tuesday 30 October 2018

Hundreds of witches, vampires, ghosts and ghouls got into the Halloween spirit at Hannahs Spooktacular at Seale-Hayne last weekend. The event proved more popular and spookier than ever.

Over 400 visitors of all ages made a huge effort with their costumes and make up and had plenty of family friendly fiendish fun. Among the spooky activities were Pumpkin Carving, Monster Making, Spooky Treasure Hunt, Spooky Story Writing and a giant Skeleton Puzzle. There were plenty of gruesome games including hook a spider, spider hopscotch, creepy lucky dip and doughnuts on a string. Everyone also had a great time dancing to monster hits in the Haunted Disco.

Hannah Moon, Director of Social Enterprise at Hannahs at Seale-Hayne, said “Now in its 7th year the Spooktacular event here at Hannahs just seems to get better every year! It was amazing to see so many visitors of all ages dressed up, enjoying the spooky games, entertainment and disco – a really brilliant evening”.
