Hundreds flock to Christmas Fayre

Tuesday 22 November 2016

Over 3,500 festive shoppers flocked to Seale-Hayne last weekend for the annual Hannahs Christmas Fayre. This year they were also able to enjoy Hannahs first ever Winter Wonderland.

Seale-Hayne was packed with over 90 stalls selling a huge range of fantastic gifts with the food tent proving as popular as ever. Winter Wonderland was a huge success with hundreds of children trying out their skating skills on the skating rink and bouncing in the giant 50 foot snowman.

The Christmas crafts room was busy all day with children creating wonderful reindeer headdresses and Christmas decorations. This year there were plenty of areas for visitors to enjoy an abundance of festive refreshments, relax and soak in the atmosphere. The Rapid Relief Team proved invaluable in running a delicious barbecue.

Christmas Fayre organiser, Nicola Moorhouse, said

“Our Christmas Fayre is the biggest fundraising event in the Dame Hannah Rogers Charity calendar and 2016 looks to be the best year yet! We welcomed lots of new stalls and our popular food and drink marquee along with the Winter Wonderland skating rink and 50ft bouncy snowman created a real buzz and great start to the festive season. We would like to thank all of our visitors for taking the time to support our fayre and look forward to seeing them again next year”.
