Saltram Rotary presents Santa Fun Run cheque to Hannahs

Saltram Rotary Club presented a very generous cheque to the Dame Hannah Rogers Trust this week. The donation of £2,250 was from funds raised at the Plymouth Santa Fun Run before Christmas. Hannahs was one of the beneficiary charities alongside Shekinah Mission and Jeremiah’s Journey.

The cheque presentation took place at the Saltram Rotary Club Presentation Evening at Staddon Heights Golf Club. Hannahs Headteacher, Jason Ryder, gave an inspiring talk about the wonderful work of the charity supporting children and young people with complex disabilities.

Hannahs Community Fundraiser, Charlotte Nicholls, said “The 2018 Santa Fun Run was another brilliant event organised seamlessly by Saltram Rotary. We are very grateful to the Rotary Club for all their ongoing support which we have been lucky to have had for a number of years. We were delighted to have been a chosen charity again this year and feel honoured to be alongside two other local charities doing such important and valuable work”.
