Hannahwood boys visit Plymouth Argyle

Wednesday 07 August 2019

A group of boys from Hannahwood had a wonderful time at the Plymouth Argyle Football Club Open Training Day recently. They particularly enjoyed meeting the manager Ryan Lowe and mascot Pilgrim Pete.

Dame Hannahs Support Worker, James Blackmore, organised the trip as he is an Argyle season ticket holder and was invited to the Open Training Day. He said “I know that several of the boys are keen Argyle fans and I wanted to organise a boys outing. The Training Day was the perfect chance to meet some of the team and watch them in action. We are really grateful to everyone at Argyle for being so helpful and making our group feel so welcome”.

James Hudson is a regular Argyle supporter and used his communication aid to say “The visit was really good and the best bit was meeting the manager and the players”.
