Dame Hannahs students celebrate end of School Year

Everyone in the Dame Hannah Rogers School got together for their End of Year Assembly and to celebrate the achievements of the remarkable students. They were all presented with certificates and there were speeches and songs to complete the celebration.
All the young people from Starfish Nursery, Bigbury, Croyde and Rio 19+ classes attended the celebration with their parents. The children work towards their ASDAN certificates and diplomas completing several different modules each year. Some also work towards Arts Award certificates. The students have also fundraised for other charities as part of their ‘mini-enterprise project’.
Head Teacher Jason Ryder said “I feel truly blessed to work at Dame Hannahs and today was a wonderful affirmation of what we do”.
