The Rotary Club of Newton Abbot held a wonderful Ball at Hannahs at Seale-Hayne last weekend. The black and gold themed ball was attended by 130 guests and was in aid of Hannahs and other Rotary Club charities.

Guests enjoyed a delicious dinner followed by dancing to the brilliant band Dodgy Practice as well as a casino and a hilarious photo booth called Giggle Booth. There was also a successful auction and raffle. Before dinner Glorious Chorus sang in the Quad and gave a beautiful performance.

Richard Morgan, President of Rotary Club of Newton Abbot, said “We were thrilled to have put on a highly successful ball – hopefully to become a regular event for the Rotary Club of Newton Abbot in conjunction with Hannahs. We are very pleased to have raised lots of money for Hannahs and the charities supported by our Rotary club”.

Hannah Moon, Director of Social Enterprises at Hannahs at Seale-Hayne, said “The Newton Abbot Rotary have been long standing supporters of Dame Hannahs, and have over the years provided much needed generous donations that have helped the children and young people that we care so much about. The Ball was a great example of us working together and it really was a fantastic evening”.
