Clinical Support Assistant (Nights)

  • Salary: £14.40 to £23.76
  • Hours: 20 to 40 hrs per week

THE ROLE & SKILLS NEEDED:
A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join the Clinical Support Team for our Adult Services Department. Are you an experienced Healthcare Assistant looking for a change or a skilled Support Worker looking to progress? The Clinical Support Team provide additional clinical support and complement the multi-disciplinary front line services.

There is a wide range of opportunities to learn new clinical skills in a supportive setting. You will undertake an induction as well as specific training relevant to the areas you may be allocated to, this may include continence, tissue viability, pressure area care, physical intervention and mental health risk assessment training.

The Clinical Support Assistant will assist and carry out duties delegated by the Duty Nurse and Lead Nurse.

You will also have line manager responsibilities which would involve actively taking part in providing assessment and competencies for care staff, carrying out staff supervisions and overseeing training; whilst keeping your own training and knowledge up to date.

If you are educated to a Level 3 Diploma in Healthcare or equivalent, you have had experience of line managing or are able to demonstrate your skills, knowledge and ability to work to this level, we would love to hear from you.

SHIFT TIMES:

Night shifts - 21:30 to 07:30 - over a fixed 4 week rota. Part Time.

PAY:
£14.40 per hour for mid-week contracted hours
£15.84 per hour for weekend contracted hours
£21.60 to £23.76 per hour for weekend overtime hours
