Sidmouth Lions donate to Dame Hannahs

The Lions Club of Sidmouth made a very generous donation to Dame Hannahs recently. Members of the Club presented a cheque for £500 to Emma Boulton from the charity’s fundraising team.

The Sidmouth Lions regularly organise fundraising events and choose different charities to support each year. They raised money from their Santa activities before Christmas when they took their Santa sleigh all around the Sid Valley with music and carols and the chance for children to talk to Santa.

Chris Rignall from Sidmouth Lions said “We decided to donate to Dame Hannahs following an excellent talk from a member of their fundraising team. We constantly look for worthwhile causes to support and Dame Hannahs is such an inspiring charity”.

Emma Boulton from Dame Hannahs fundraising team said “We are incredibly grateful to the Sidmouth Lions for their very generous donation of £500. We really appreciate their support and help in raising vital funds for our young people at Dame Hannahs”
