Dame Hannahs receives Harvest Festival Bounty

Loddiswell Congregational Church has kindly donated a wonderful Harvest Festival Bounty to Dame Hannahs. Two gentlemen from the church visited Dame Hannahs School last week to present the generous array of home grown fruit and vegetables.

Dame Hannahs Headteacher, Jason Ryder, said “Every year, our friends at the Loddiswell Congregational Church generously donate a ‘Harvest Festival Bounty’ to Dame Hannah Rogers’ School. Home-made produce, fresh vegetables and other goodies are laid out in our Dining Hall for the students to see, touch and smell. This generosity serves to remind us that we live in a caring and supportive community and that we should celebrate the gift of life, compassion and kindness”.
