Dame Hannahs cakes raise hundreds at Yealmpton Show
Monday 01 August 2022
Dame Hannahs sold hundreds of delicious cakes at the Yealmpton Show and raised a massive £1362.60. They also sold homemade jams and beautiful handmade Hearts for Hannahs gifts as well as running a Name the Cow competition which was fun for the many visitors and supporters who visited the stand.
The money raised at the show has gone towards the Dame Hannahs Shower Trolley Appeal. A hydraulic shower trolley is an essential piece of equipment for the Adults with disabilities at Dame Hannahs while they are bathing or using the hydrotherapy pool.
Dame Hannahs Head of Fundraising, Daniel Burke said “It was simply fantastic to be back at Yealmpton Show after a three year break due to the limitations the pandemic placed on large scale events. We were delight4ed to welcome so many of our existing supporters to our stand as well as first time visitors. This year’s event was our most successful fundraiser at Yealmpton and all of the funds raised by Dame Hannahs Ivybridge Supporter Group has gone toward our Shower Trolley Appeal. We can only thank everyone who bought from our stalls and more importantly everyone who baked and sewed so many goods to help fundraise towards this amazing appeal.”
