Hundreds brave Hannahs Halloween Spooktacular
Tuesday 08 November 2016
Over 300 people dressed up as ghosts, witches, skeletons and vampires for the Halloween Spooktacular at Seale-Hayne last week.
The scary looking visitors enjoyed an evening of spooky activities and tasty Halloween treats. The frightful festivities included spooky stalls, gruesome games, creepy creatures, a haunted disco and ghostly storytelling. Throughout half-term week the Seale-Hayne “graveyard” in the Quad was buzzing with young visitors who took part in the popular Bumpkin Pumpkin Treasure Hunt.
Matt Newbury, Events & Marketing Manager at Hannahs, said:
“The Halloween Spooktacular is one of our most popular events at Hannahs at Seale-Hayne and we love welcoming the hundreds of people who make such an amazing effort with their spooky costumes. Our staff and guests also excelled themselves this year with some really inventive spooky treats including a frankly terrifying Zombie Containment Unit, huge eyeballs and really effective window projections. Hannahs is very much about finding creative ways to fundraise for the disabled people we support so thank you to everyone who came. We now have to get the site ready for Christmas, swapping grave stones for a skating rink and we look forward to seeing everyone back at Hannahs soon.”
