Hannahs supporters fundraise in Royal style
Tuesday 11 December 2018
Over 100 Hannahs supporters enjoyed a wonderful Royal themed ‘Tea and Tiaras’ fundraising afternoon at the beautiful Kitley House Hotel in Yealmpton. Organised by Dame Hannahs Ivybridge Supporters, the event raised a wonderful £2464 for the charity.
Guests enjoyed an illuminating presentation by Royal historian Meg de Blank about Royal brides and the changing fashions in wedding dresses and tiaras. Everyone was then treated to a delicious cream tea. During tea Amanda Burden from Luscombe Maye conducted an auction of Royal memorabilia. Ivybridge Supporter Christine Carder ran a stall selling her pretty handmade Hearts for Hannahs in aid of the charity and there was also a raffle.
Hannahs Head of Fundraising, Daniel Burke, said “We were delighted with such an amazing turnout at our Tea and Tiaras event at Kitley House Hotel. It was a huge success and raised a wonderful £2464 for the Dame Hannah Rogers Charity. A big thank you to Dame Hannahs Ivybridge Supporters for all their hard work in organising the event, to Meg De Blank for her fascinating presentation, to Spike and his team at Kitley House Hotel and to all our supporters who attended the event”
