Wing Walkers brave it for Hannahs
Tuesday 10 July 2018
Four very special fundraisers took part in Hannahs first ever Wing Walk challenge at Bodmin Airfield last week.
The four brave wing walkers took on the challenge to raise money for Hannahs. Taking to the skies were Tahlia Waller from NFU Mutual in Exeter, Jane Entwistle from Newton Abbot ASDA, George White from Bromhead Accountants in Exeter and John Axworthy from Saltram Rotary Club. They have already raised thousands of pounds for Hannahs and featured on BBC Spotlight.
Claire Landricombe from Hannahs Fundraising Team said “We are very grateful to our four special fundraisers who were brave enough to take on this wing walk challenge in aid of Hannahs; raising lots of money and awareness for our special charity. It was a fantastic day at Bodmin Airfield, watching each of them take to the skies. We’re already looking forward to next year’s wing walk event and encourage anyone who’s interested in taking part in a unique adventure to get in touch!”
Jane Entwistle said "I couldn't wait to support Dame Hannah Rogers Trust when I heard about their wing walk! It was a once in a lifetime experience that I will never forget, Made all the more better knowing that a local charity will benefit from my experience"
